Chipping Norton & The Rollright Stones

This was a walk around the cotswolds town of Chipping Norton (Map loc) and across the rolling fields towards the Rollright Stones and the little villages of Salford and Little Rollright. A Total of about 8.8m with some hills but a nice trek out in great weather.

Walk from Edale along Nether Booth to Jaggers Clough, along Hope Brink over Townhead Bridge and up Lose Hill, Back Tor, Hollins cross, & Mam Tor Total Distance was 12.26 Mile ascent 2508ft Total time 6h 42m 37s. We climbed Lose hill & Back Tor.

Day 1 Edale trip

Edale to Hollins cross then to mam Tor, rushup edge, over the top of the Cowburn tunnel onto Edale moor and back down to Edale. Total Distance 10.9 Miles Ascent 2283ft Time 6h 19m 54s. Peaks Climbed Hollins cross, Mam Tor, Lords Seat, Horsehill Tor, Brown Knoll, Grindslow Knoll.
