The Three peaks challenge 2012
It was at the start of the year that we decided to climb the three highest peaks in the UK, Scafell pike (3029ft) - Snowdon (3560ft) - Ben Nevis (4409ft). We decided on the order of climb, did the routes and planned the maps and we first set off for the Lake district to make a start on the quest . We had no interest in climbing them in 24hrs as we both thought this was dangerous and the whole point of it was to enjoy it and make the most of it, so we planned to do them all in one summer. I have covered the climbs in detail on the relevant pages on the website so this page is just a brief overview for you to plan your trips. I have listed them as we climbed them but its up to you to make your mind up on which you should do first.
