Another great trip to London again visiting the Shadwell & limehouse areas, first we visited the Annie Lebernitz photography exhibition at the Wapping hydraulic power station, a project called women that's been many years in the making. Her pictures are always stunning and the venue was very atmospheric
Chelsea Harbour to Wapping along the Thames. 16th January 2016
This route down the Thames proved to be one of the best London walks we have done to date, it takes in breathtaking views with lots of historic sites, we just wished it was a little warmer.
We set off on one of the coldest days of the winter so far. We wrapped up warm for this 9 mile trip following the river Thames path starting at Chelsea Harbour, the easiest way to get here is by the London Overground and head towards Imperial Wharf station.
Hampstead Heath to Wembley park. 11 mile hard walk across north london.
It was on cold and wet morning that Gail decided it would be nice to get out in the fresh air and walk 11 miles through North London parks & Heaths, so off we went by car in the rain down the M1. The starting point for this walk was Hamstead Heath and you can get there easily on the Overground, as the station lies just south of Hampstead Ponds
